Gestern kam ein schönes Päckchen aus dem fernen Finnland von meinem Secret Pal an und augenblicklich ging die Sonne auf bei dem Anblick dieser Farbenpracht:
Yesterday a wonderful parcel arrived from Finland from my secret pal and just in the moment of opening the parcel the sun rised at the sight of this blaze of color:
Alles reine Wolle und ich denke aus der dicken Wolle mache ich mir eine Mütze und aus dem dünneren Vorgarn ein hübsches Tuch. Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Wolle und die schönen Farben!
It’s all pure wool and I guess I will make a hat with the thicker yarn and a shawl from the thin yarn. Thank you so much, dear secret pal, I love the wonderful yarn and the colors!
PS: Rannoch Dress ist nahezu fertig: nur noch zwei Armausschnitte müssen umhäkelt werden. Morgen werde ich es zum Stricktreff anziehen und hoffe, daß dabei ein brauchbares Bild entsteht. Dann mehr.
PS: Rannoch Dress is nearly finished. I only have to make the sleeve edging. Tomorrow I will wear it at a little knitter’s meeting and I hope someone will take a good picture of the dress. Than more about it.

Finally it arrived to you! I was a little bit worried when the days went by and my present to you still hadn´t arrive.
